Is the problem solved? Not sure too much ice!

Last weekend went through all the wiring with Peter at GKD. Anything to do with earth's, speedo and fuel. I found a couple of spade connectors that were too short (my fault) so I changed them. Stupidly enough I didn't make a note of what they were. Nothing else was found that was wrong. I then put the silencer back on with some stone wool to keep the sound level down. The car is up on blocks, wheels removed so I revved it in neutral all the way up to 6,700 until the default limiter stepped in and back down again - no fault codes at all. Then taking it really easy and with the garage door open! I eased it into first gear and again revved it up. All the way up past the usual 5,200 I've been plagued with up to 6,700 rpm where the limiter again stepped in. I checked the fault codes and still nothing! So it's either cured or there is a difference when up on blocks or actually driving which I find hard to believe.
I know the wheel and wooden plank won't help if it falls off the stands!

The only problem is there is too much ice outside the garage so I can't test it.
I tried to shovel it away on Saturday but the temperature was -18 and the snow had turned to solid ice.
